I review your proposal for its strengths and weaknesses and offer suggestions for how to improve or clarify it.

Developmental Editing

I work more extensively with you on your project to get it polished and ready to submit.

This service is appropriate when you are ready to finish the project, or if you need to meet a looming deadline.

Special Projects

I work with organizations on their projects to get them clarified, polished, and ready to share with their stakeholders.

Private Coaching Sessions

$55 each

A 40 minute one-on-one coaching session for your writing project. Includes a short check-in email.

Custom Workshops

Workshops I've custom-created and run include a primer on grants, fellowships and residencies; a series of workshops on journaling for creative productivity; mentorship workshops for academic and writing concerns; and podcasting 101. I'd be pleased create a custom workshop for you and your group.

ACCountability check-ins

$25 each

Customized weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly check-ins to keep you on track and working through your goals.

I started the Academic Life podcast and grew that into the new Academic Life Lab, because I believe that learning happens best in a supportive community.

Despite what the gatekeepers may have told you:

You belong. You matter. You have something worth saying.

There is no such thing as a meritocracy. If someone is having an easier time managing their writing projects, then they have more resources available to them than you do.
